This review is based solely on KFC’s published allergen information. It reflects what the chain reports about the presence or possible cross-contact of the 14 major allergens. Please check KFC’s official allergen guide directly, as ingredients and preparation practices may change. KFC states that its teams β€œregularly handle multiple food ingredients” and cannot guarantee any item is allergen-free, including when ingredients are removed on request. The document highlights multiple shared processes: fries and hash browns use the same oil as popcorn chicken and bites; all buns go through the same toaster; and cooking areas and delivery handling may cause additional cross-contact. High-prevalence allergens across the menu include gluten, milk, egg, soya, mustard, celery and sesame, appearing repeatedly in burgers, wraps, bowls, chicken pieces, fries, rice dishes, salads, bites and sauces. Nuts appear rarely as ingredients but are listed as a β€œmay contain” for Popcorn Chicken.
